But yes, Champ Week + Selection Sunday + opening weekend of NCAA Tourney is the best stretch of sports ever. Especially when the Hawks have a year like this one.
Pretty crazy there’s only been three teams who were not able to make the call for their conference tournament games and we know the UNI one was BS.. I think there’s a real shot that we get 66-67 of the tournament teams that are actually able to play their games.
Anybody else hear that ridiculous conversation before the Dook BC game about what a win today would mean for Dooks tournament chances!? That’s insanely stupid..
Agreed but speaking of stupid...the line on Duke was only -12 today. Basically free money if you joined in which I did not. Sigh.
I haven't paid attention to the seeds below around 4. Is BYU considered "in" even if they lose this game? If they win, would they steal a bid (like, from Drake, etc).
They’re in. Likely a 8-10 seed. They won’t be punished if they lose to Gonzaga.
BYU is not a bid stealer. Solid 7 seed if they win, maybe 8 with a loss.
Shooting 70% from the field makes most teams unbeatable. Feel like the Zags could be a good second half bet.

Never understand why teams struggle to screen away from the ball on late game situations.
Yes, duh, they're gonna switch.......so re-screen and re-cut.
Don't just f***ing stop and stand and wait for someone else to do something.

I think NW and PSU win, but kinda hope NEB wins the late one. The Fuskers can't upset Pissconsin and sneak into the game vs Iowa, on Friday night, if they lose right away.

I was working and missed all the afternoon action, but how great it is it to be able to watch all these 'bubble battles' and not feeling super anxious cause the Hawks would need a lot of dominoes to fall the right way to get a bid??
Makes watching these tourneys so much more fun.
Do we care who wins today, I mean beyond disliking certain teams or coaches? Does it matter who wins between Minnesota and Northwestern? I assume Penn State has a better chance to beat Wisconsin, so I suppose we can root for them.
