At least it does to me.

You can talk all you want about policies. America first. Harris is a flawed candidate. Trump is good for the economy. You can blame Biden for inflation (BS IMO). Go ahead and diminish Trump's crimes/indictments. You can blather on about which candidate is a racist, which one is tougher on illegal immigration, which one is a better speaker, blah, blah, blah.

I voted for Harris simply on character. Yeah, maybe you don't think Harris has a strong character, but Trump has none. He doesn't really care about the country or anyone else besides himself. He will do whatever is good for him and for his buddies. He ignores guardrails. He ignores laws. He seeks and bathes in power.

So, what happens when the sh*t hits the fan?

Like, oh say, a pandemic? Does he spend days and weeks learning everything that could be learned and consulting advisors? Nope. He says it will "go away" when it gets warmer. Encourages people to use an untested drug with no scientific support. Suggest injecting light or bleach into the lungs will kill the disease. Says you don't need to wear a mask. His very words simply downplayed the problem at hand.

In short, he was just "winging it".

What if instead he stayed with what scientists were telling him and encouraged Americans to be cautious, socially distance, wear masks (even if they weren't perfectly effective). What if he hadn't emptied the emergency supplies or gutted the pandemic playbook to save some money? Would fewer people have died?

Character reveals itself in a crisis. Donald Trump wet his pants.

I pray that in the next 4 years this country isn't faced with a similar crisis. Because he won't know what to do. He thinks he can just "bully" a crisis like he does everything else.

That's why I voted for Harris. But that's just me.
