Check in here when you’ve flipped on the Christmas lights

I actually did it this year - put them up before it got cold 2-3 weeks ago. Haven’t turned the timers on yet though.

I feel like neighborhood is in a standoff on who is going to the first one

Had the lights put up a few weeks ago. Haven’t turned them on yet. Will do so next weekend since it will be the weekend before Thanksgiving. Tbw doesn’t like them on too soon.

Always throw the lights over the bushes by now so I'm not dealing with it while it's to cold. After this weekend I'm sure the wife will turn them on. 3 of the 5 Christmas trees are already up in the house and the one in the basement the neighbors can see through the window so we already have had some sort of Christmas lights on I guess.

The neighbors across the street have their tree up and lights on. One department at work has theirs up, too. Several houses in my street have exterior lights up and on at night already.
I assume part of my weekend will be spent putting up lights
