Good for what it is? Just maybe relatively uninteresting? Perfectly acceptable for the context you've described, and would also be if your client was in Lincolnshire, no normal person is going to think it's bad. However, just a couple blocks over you could go to a Rick Bayless restaurant, or a classic steakhouse, or excellent sushi, etc.

We had a good meal there.

One of the managers is from Iowa.

Go to the new French place in that hood. It is terrific. Fun space too.
