Chicago tips...

I lived there for a number of years. D’Agastino’s is the best…. Or was when I lived there.

D’Agastino’s is good. It is one of the few places on the north side to find thin crust. That may have changed in recent years as Chicago thin crust becomes more widely known.

I lived in Chicago for 25 years. Orso’s on Wells street has fantastic pizza. It’s tavern style but really good. Pizano’s for deep dish would be my recommendation. If you want a good Italian meal with great atmosphere, go to Topo Gigio on Wells street. From there walk up to Corcran’s for a jar. It’s right across the street from Second City.
