Hansen, 59, has been evicted from his home in New York City and his wife, Mary Joan, has filed for divorce, according to court records obtained by PEOPLE.

The outlet also reports that the couple convened on Tuesday this week — one day after Hansen was arrested and charged with issuing bad checks — to discuss “financial disputes” and will return to court within the next two weeks.
