Anyone remember Tyler Herro for Kentucky last year? Now tearing it up as a rookie for the Miami Heat. The similarities between these two are crazy. We got a steal in CJF!

Posted that comparison in the other thread, he's a 4yr version herro. Been my comparison since the exhibition game. He's gonna be a good one.
Hopefully Kentucky doesnt want him to transfer back home. I hope he stays loyal to us.
Will have to see more of CJF to conclude. Despite them looking alike Herro has some crazy bounce to his game.
If you recall in another thread earlier when I was praising CJ from what I saw at his state tournament- the whole talk during that tournament was how come he isnt going to UK or UL. I mean everywhere you wentt after the games people were asking why didnt Calapari offer the kid. After the state tournament he was quoted saying if he hadnt signed early with Iowa he would of offered him. Not sure hes the athlete Herro is but not sure Herro plays D like CJF.
The fact that he was willing to sign on with the Hawks without a scholarship tells me he is pretty committed too playing here. Not worried about him leaving.
Herro is head and shoulders above CJF on the defensive end. I like the potential of CJF but let’s take a step back from this talk.
Clearly you didnt watch UK or follow them. Herro didnt guard anyone early in his career. Cal complained often about his on ball defense and weak side D. I love Herro game and agree hes a beast but I think its a pretty fair comparison.
I think a good one is the guy that was doing color commentary on Vegas....Casey Jacobsen from Stanford.
I have been watching Herro in the NBA and whenever I watch him he is giving great effort and playing good D on the ball. Only college ball I watch is the Hawks so I didn’t watch much of him in college.
BrunoMars420 I agree I love watching Herro with the Heat hes sooo damn good. Cal really improved his game. CJF had a year to learn so no surprise he is a better defender early. Taking zero away from Herro kid is a stud and pro just making comparision because Im having a hard time who Fredericks reminds me of. Maybe Danny Ainge type.
C’mon Herro was one of the top players in the country coming out of high school, is 2-3 inches taller, at least 20 pounds heavier, much better at creating his shot and a better athlete. Yep, other than that, they are similar
