Looking forward to this match the most. I think Brock is one of the most exciting young wrestlers out there. He is one SLICK kid. I think his biggest downside is his ability to ride though which could be the difference maker.

Senior vs RS Freshman. But how healthy/prepared is our senior?

I'm not gonna be a crowd favorite here but I'm picking Brock. He has such an amazing offense, I think he will catch Clark flat footed some as I don't think he's 100% yet.

Who ya got?

I believe if Clarke is close to 100% this one goes his way 9/10 he looks real good so far but not sure he is completly up to speed I got Cory in a nail bighter if they meet again Cory extents the lead later this season ..

Worried that Brock can get to his legs easily. Will be a tough match for Cory today but Cory makes adjustments pretty well so a follow on match doesn't worry me that much at the NCAAs

Would you like to bet a $100.00 and I'll take Clark of course? Loser sends money to Wrestling For Life.

Clark and his riding upside.

Yeah Brock is good but can't bet against Clark , you don't get to be a two time finalist by being a chump

I unfortunately think Brock takes it as well.

I would not be surprised. Cory gives up a dual match or two each year and has done it against lesser opponents than Brock. I like NATO as a matchup for Clark better than I do Brock. I think Clark beats NATO in the dual. If you put a gun to my head, I would say Clark though

I think Cory needs all his energy early to beat this kid.

No TD for Brock at end of 1st. No stallmate while Brock going to his back. Which allowed Brock to get restart and escape at end of 2 plus ended riding time.

I'm still upset by the strange clock work... that said I think Clark will look better at NCAAs

Clark will be ok he is a tough dude. Just had a bad start and then some questionable calls go against him.
He gets healed up will be a tougher out at nationals but 133 looks as tough as any now.

Honest question, though I'm not sure anyone can provide an answer. How much is Clark's injury still impacting him? Secondly, is it something that will improve if he continues to wrestle or will he just have to wrestle in pain the rest of the season?

I thought Clark was somewhat limited in his arm usage. Hopefully it continues to get better. Class kid, seemed to me.

I re-watched this match and ran a riding time clock and Clark was 2 seconds from the riding time point so we can forget about that. However, on the second Brock td in the 2nd period Brock was getting the stall count for battling a single with control and Brands challenged the td apparently negating the stall warning?

Then when Cory is running Brock all over the mat in the 3rd no stall call? Yet Clark is trying to run a leg lace and actually trying a turn not just hanging on and gets dinged. I would assume this is why Clark didn't just ride the ankle to get his riding point in the 3rd was due to this bogus call?

Once again Clark has Brock tight in a half and arm bar and to me it looks like he is going over at least for NF if not the fall and another PD! Man this is getting old. Make an adjustment guys. This is on the staff as much as Cory. A leg lace for a stall call and a half for potentially dangerous while Sammy just keeps tilting guys and Boyd is huge. I felt like Clark is a lot stronger than Brock and could horse him around on top.

Clark is better than Brock. We got out foxed here. It won't happen again unless we see more PD's.

Why didn't Clark where the brace before? Hard to believe that he needs it now if he didn't need it last weekend. Probably should still be resting through this grueling stretch of duals. Would not be surprised if he ends up hurt before the end of this stretch.

Didn't Dardanes beat him twice 2 years ago? Dual and big tens. Think he was 1 or 2 sec short of riding time to send the 2nd match to OT. Or maybe Dardanes had a couple sec over the minute?

He was 1 sec short of winning the match with riding time, and the match went to OT instead, where Clark lost. IIRC.
