Clemmons steal resulting in late game erroneous fould call = BIG!

Is this a new Fran? Two years ago, he would have blown a gasket at the disparity on the way things were called on each end of the floor. This was almost like playing at Wisconsin.

Yeah not too upset with the loss here. The refs were as bad against IA as possible and they still gave a solid Dayton team a game.

I think Fran knew that the game wasn't lost when the refs were shit. He knew it was lost when Iowa had empty possessions and lost composure for extended periods of time. Fran knows the refs missed some obvious calls, but not enough to cost his team more shots from the charity stripe.

What stinks is just a minute earlier Gessell gets raked on the arm going to the basket causing him to lose the ball but no call. Then Clemmons gets a swipe and it's a foul. Just be consistent. Is that too much too ask?

We also missed 3 front ends of one & ones this game. That's 6 lost pts. Rebounding remains a concern as well as stopping the dribble drive. On the positive side, we shoot the ball better, especially from 3 this year.

These non-con tourneys always have one-sided officiating. We'll probably get all the calls tomorrow.

Refs were Garb, but we lost fair and square. Dayton's a good team.

Dayton was real good especially at the guards. We did several things that hurt our chances to win no doubt. It would just be nice to see consistency on some calls down the stretch. A rake on the arm going to the basket on one end is no foul but called a foul a minute later on the other end.

I don't know how they didn't reverse the call where it was called out of bounds on Jok to me it was clearly out of bounds on their other guy(s).
