Clinton: The FBI hasn’t told me I’m being investigated

Hillary Clinton said late Monday the FBI has not informed her that she is the subject of a probe over her email practices as secretary of State.

“I’ve heard others say that neither you nor your lawyers have been apprised that you’re the target of the investigation,” Fox News anchor Bret Baier said to Clinton during a town hall in Detroit.

“Absolutely true,” the Democratic presidential front-runner replied.
“Have your or your lawyers been apprised that your current or former staff are targets of the investigation?” Baier asked.

“Absolutely not,” the former first lady responded.

Clinton then argued that she committed no wrongdoing by using a personal email account at the State Department.

“I will reiterate because it’s a fact — nothing I sent or received was classified,” she said of her correspondences at the agency.

Well wonder no more. Still doesn't excuse the point that the GOP needs this very unlikely scenario to unfold just to stay in this election. Republicans are in a state of denial. It's like them still desperately clinging to the idea that Rubio or Kasich will somehow become the nominee. Or thinking that they can win the White House without the support of minorities. Hanging their hats on very unlikely situations seems to be a weird quirk of the modern day Republican party.

Compared to Clinton, he wouldn't. Most experts think that the Republicans would need to get at least 40% of the Latino vote to be viable. Rubes doesn't even come close to that number versus Hillary. Many polls have him doing no better than McCain or Romney for this bloc.

And let's be honest, even if Rubes did get huge Latino support, it wouldn't matter, because he'll never be the nominee. A Rube Goldberg like device of delegate math would have to unfold for him to get the nod.

If she is indicted Democrats will drop her faster than you can say hot potato. However, if she is not indicted, Republicans will still want to hold endless weeks of worthless hearings to "get to the bottom" of the entire issue.
