You can pay for the wall alone by cutting the aid to Mexico and taxing trade from Mexico into the USA from companies that have taken jobs to Mexico.

Mexico gets $419 million in aid. Mexico makes products cheeper than USA workers. So when you add in the aid -- or whatever ring dumb tariffs you suggest -- the cost of increase products to be made in the USA vs the Wall of Trump at a cost $2.4 billion (not to mention there are simple ways around a wall) you fail fail fail

Even if we take $400 million a year away it still takes a full six years of funding just to build to the damn thing. That's not including the ongoing cost of maintenance or the funding needed to put enough people to make sure there aren't people jumping over/crawling under the wall you know about every five feet.

FIFY, it will not only impact products from Mexico, it will push prices up across the board. I hope all the Trump supporters want to significantly lower the minimum wage and allow sweatshops within our borders. It actually kind of sounds like we want to be China. Low wage jobs, walls, "tightening" laws on the press...yeah, that sounds like China.
