Coach of the Year?

I would go with Gard. 10 wins in a row is dang good. Crean has a whole lot more talent on the court to work with.

This is true but Crean lost 3 players due to off court actions at the start of the season, Blackmon (16ppg) prior to the Big Ten and recently his replacement Robert Johnson. That's a lot to overcome.

Yogi, Williams and Bryant is pretty dang good trio and in my opinion superior to similar trio at Wisconsin. I just think Gard has done more to pull the team together and be successful for the year. Crean is right there and I can see support for him.

Frankly, as much as Crean was on the floor Tuesday night, shouldn't he be considered for player awards rather than coaching? Just sayin"

LOL Nice last quote, very funny.

I got to give it to Crean, but Izzo is surely to garner some recognition. If I had a vote, I would go Crean, Izzo, Gard.

I'm an IU guy, and I think Crean has done his best job by far; a job, in fact, that I didn't think he had in him. That being said, what Gard has done has been nothing short of unbelievable. They're going to finish top-4 again, having to replace 3 pros off back-to-back Final Four teams, and the mid-season change to boot. It's a tough vote to be sure, but the coach in me has to nudge towards Gard.

Gard. There are no seniors on this team and Gard had to take over and do things on the fly. Installed a new offense in DECEMBER.

Going from assistant to head coach with all of that pressure is unbelievable. Plus Wisconsin played the toughest conference schedule and Indiana one of the weakest

I'd go with anyone before a coach from MSU, Wisconsin or Indiana wins it because f*** those guys.
