just watched the post-game presser and i don't care if there's been another thread on it already, not sure if there is, but coach Ferentz is nothing but class and we should be thankful we've had him for the last 23 or whatever years.
now, i am no KF apologist, in fact i was screaming insults at the tv just yesterday when he called timeout to seemingly ice our own kicker, but the guy is obviously a great leader of young men, always give props to his opponent, is humble and well spoken and is a tremendous representative for the university and the state of Iowa. and he's won a lot of games.
and even in a loss, and it drives a lot of us crazy *that's football* (which turns out to be true a lot of times), he's always so even keeled. exactly what i picture a coach, leader and mentor to be.
we definitely could have had a lot worse... but he still needs to demote his kid.
