(Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)

Coaches are responsible for:

Identifying the schemes that will be run
Identifying personnel to fit these schemes
Recruiting personnel to fit and diversify these schemes
Teach personnel to execute excellence in these schemes
Coach in a manner that set an optimistic mindset and builds character
Coach in a manner that makes people want to excel in the system
Real-time identification of weaknesses and potential adjustments to the scheme

How many of these is Iowa doing well on the offensive side of the ball?
Is the issues scheme, personnel, or coaching?
And finally , who is responsible for these ^^^?

IMO, Kirk should feel more heat.
But, Barta negated that with an unnecessarily long extension.

Conclusion: Brian and Barta need to be demoted. Kirk to AD. Parker to HC. Fresh blood to OC.

I think kirk is feeling the heat as his going to the transfers this yeae is huge

So, you're saying the offense should improve?

It's a lot less complicated then that. Help the university make money, win a fair share of your games, run at a minimum a halfway clean, respected program everything else is gravy.

It’s easy to point out the problems.

What I have so eloquently ;) ;) ;) done, is provide a concrete solution to ‘the problem’

You and I know it’d take more cohones than we currently have on staff, but it could be the best move for all involved. For the team. For the program.

Personally, I love KF. But leadership means responsibility. And leveling the axe all but a necessity. The offense must modernize.
