I didn r watch the whole game tto me the turning pts was when pemsl had the turnover and stepped over the baseline on the inbounds. He does that every game I ve watched and hadn't t got called. I can t believe the coaches could not see that. Just boggles the mind know different than not following g your shot too get the rebound. Me tal errors by our coaches.

He does it every game and his foot never hits the ground prior to passing the ball; easily the worst call in the game last night. Maddening, the incompetence...

I also thought that was the wrong call but man it sure was close.

Pemsl definitely needs to change his footwork on the inbound pass - just clearly establish yourself out of bounds so there's no question. That simple, Cordell.

He's in too much of a hurry and it finally cost him and his team.

If he does that all the time, and yes i have noticed he does it, why have the refs never called it before? Goes back to the terrible inconsistency of the refs. If he’s been doing it all year, call it 2 months ago and he would have adjusted and quit. Instead they decided to wait till the last game of the year to make the call?

Underwood probably noticed it watch film and warned the refs to be on the lookout. Even if it was close, they were going to call it.

Iowa has been called on it this year.

It wasn’t “close” as it was clearly obvious that his foot was off the ground with possession of the ball out of bounds.

If you’re going to make THAT call, in THAT moment, you better be sure you’re 100% correct. Pemsl didn’t cost his team shit. B1G officiating costed Iowa a possession.

@HawkInArk

Here’s how “close” it actually was......

A good 10”-12” off the ground, close.

According to Shon Morris, he never established himself out of bounds. Just as laughable.

Well there’s the evidence...what a horrendous call. Ref right on top of it. Pretty clear underwood made it a point to tell the refs to watch out for pemsl doing that, an that puke just called it right away instead of merely watching to make sure he wasn’t stepping over the line. Crap calls like that are what’s embarrassing for the league and its refs

Ok, yep, you're right - not even close. I'm sure hearing that will give you a big ol' erection.

Actually, no (but not because I can’t get a big ol’ one.:D). The BS call is just more infuriating after watching it again. Took a possession away.

I don't think they've been whistled for it until yesterday. If you add the word "out" after "called" then that would be accurate, as a certain BIG Network analyst whose name I don't recall, did just that during a game recently.

When I watched it in real time I thought "shit, he was close to not lifting his foot up enough."

That's all I'm sayin - it was close but the ref made the wrong call. It's a lazy move on the inbound and his forward lean hurt his cause.
