Colin. Since he left the office of Secretary of State, he has shown a tendency to speak his mind, and have clear centrist opinions. Hence he would have zero chance in a brokered Republican convention.

I don't think either is sounding the alarm to get in the race. But if they both somehow were, I would choose Colin. Romney is frightened by a Trump presidency, but indifferent to all the misbehavior by the rest of the field. However, Powell is disgusted by all of their tactics. That shows more bravery and a better grasp on the true nature of the race.

I want to cut Powell some slack. I really do. In other ways he seems like a good person. But some choices are disqualifying.
