Collins and Pitino

You know... I didn't really think about Collins but they are trending down. I still think he stays for what he's done for the program.
Yeah he's not going anywhere. Gaines is their only senior. Their core are juniors and sophomores. And they won't go pro early.
NW needs to understand who they are. They will never be a big time basketball school. But they can try to be a middle of the pack Big Ten team that makes the tourney every now and then when they have an experienced roster. Collins can be the guy to do that. Cut him and you roll the dice hoping that your next coach is better. But history has shown that the next coach at NW almost always isn’t better but rather more of the same or worse.
