I see where Herron is elevated to a four star and flipping to the fricking Irish. LOI's are going away so I guess we'll just wait and see who shows up to play in the fall. No longer need to get overly excited about recruiting.

Reminds me of Jerry McGuire where the Dad shakes McGuire's hand and says my word is as strong as oak. Then his son signs with someone else. A handshake or verbal commitment doesn't mean much these days. Integrity is a thing of the past,
 
I think doing away with LOIs is a bad idea. It removes that last bit of stability there was in recruiting. At least you had some idea who was coming in. How do you know now? Wait for them to enroll? When do you stop recruiting other guys? It's only going to make the process more chaotic.
