Please feel free to respond with the biggest problem the Hawkeyes will have on Sunday. Before the game. ;) Just an announcement, we will no longer serve second meals to people who complain about the first one AFTER they have eaten it.

Not saying Sunday but for the year I see two problems.
Lack of size will kill us when we need stops in conference.
JBo is not a Big 10 pg.

JB will be all big ten by his senior year.. book it! He reminds me so much of his older brother who was a star at Wisconsin!

you are correct JBo is not a B1G PG guard..he hasn't played in a B1G as yet.
course some thought Aaron White wasn't B1G ready either....you might be right...all I know is I watched some of his brothers kick our ass...will be nice NOT hearing "3 pointer by Bohannon" from the announcer in Carver...other than the one wearing an Iowa uni.

Takeaways from post game interviews:

Dolph lobbed a softball up to Fran about Peter's 30 and 11 and Fran demurred & moaned about the poor defense his "not inexperienced" 2nd half group had. No props to Jok.

Peter took some defensive blame for penetration but quickly brought up help defense & the lack of a rim presence, saying "we talked to Tyler about it".

In spite of us all proclaiming this team is deep, Fran basically said he played seven in the 2nd half because he didn't trust 8, 9 or 10.

Evan at that, he "wished he'd gotten more out of Wagner" and "Bohannon will learn the speed of the game" from this.

Fran did say a few positive things , but I thought we were only being negative in this thread.

Jason wasn't a star. If Jordan becomes all-B1G by his senior year, that means he probably ended up better than Jason

All big 10 his senior year and 1,000 point scorer as a PG.. not a star, very very good though!

I am much relieved in the concerns for our PGs against good competition. They displayed some inexperience and made some mistakes against some pretty good athletes on a very good team....but they were not overpowered or out of their league. I would guess that by the start of B10 play they will be playing at a much higher level than they are now and we will be alright.
