Connor Cook smh

First time I've seen this, and it is way worse than I expected. Particularly bad because he was in no way the MVP. He got significantly outplayed by CJ, and showed zero amount of class in front of the entire nation.

Shilique was the biggest difference maker in that game. MVP should have gone to him, IMO.

I definitely agree with this ^^, that MSU DE was a 1 man wrecking ball. I was getting a little scared of him just watching the game on TV! :D For the sake of all right handed college QB's everywhere...I hope that guy is a senior! :D

Also, while Cook may be a very good QB, he really came across as a jerk with that "acceptance". Good grief, show some class fella.

Don't have the best audio watching it on my phone. Did the mic catch him saying something? I don't get what everyone is talking about.

It was the simple fact that he took the MVP trophy from Archie and didnt even acknowledge him in any way, shape or form and acted like he was better than him.

And did anyone think the comments by B1G commissioner about iowa before handing the trophy to Dantonio were very disrespectful. The look on his face was very smug and was like "who the hell invited Iowa to this game".

Per Dave Revsine, at 12:06am on December 6th, he apologized profusely.
Just seems odd that he's never seen Archie Griffin, and that he was some token guy to hand him the trophy.

He's just sorry he got caught looking like an a**hole. He is in no way sorry about how cocky he was. There's a reason he's not a captain and this is the reason he will fall in the draft.

Biggest thing I learned in the game against MSU....Connor Cook is a complete douche...and he may even give douche's a bad wrap, because even a douche isn't this douchey. Am I clear about this?
Well he plays for a great DB for a coach, learns from the best. Everytime I see that smug little smile on that morons face I want to jack him.

Oh, puh-LEEZE! Is anyone buying this pathetic Cook excuse for an apology?? Not me!

A few weeks ago, I was kind of hoping the Bears would draft Cook to replace Cutler. Now I'm hoping they don't replace one douche with another one.

Honestly, I hope MSU beats Alabama. But I hope they do it running the ball and Cook gets pummeled by Alabama's front four. I wish Archie Griffin would have jacked him...or said, "take your little glass trophy you didn't deserve...I've got bigger hardware to worry about."

Wow. You people obviously have no clue what you are talking about. Yes, Cook was not voted one of 3 team captains. If there were 4 captains, he would be one. The senior class has some amazing leaders (Jack Allen, Darien Harris, Shilique Calhoun). However, he IS on the leadership counsel and extremely well respected by his teammates. You obviously missed the part where he said he didn't deserve the MVP and awarded it to his Oline and gave them the trophy after the game. It sits in the Oline meeting room now.

But go ahead and keep hating. Cook is in the playoffs and he has 4 losses in 3 years as starting QB. I don't think a "Douche" and "non leader" could do that at QB.

Him grabbing the trophy from Archie was definitely rude and he admitted so. He also called Archie the next day and apologized.

JMO, but the "caught up in the moment" thing doesn't fly. He got this award two years ago, right? Who handed it to him then? Who is the award named for? You hear his name announced and unless you're a moron, you know the name, and if you play the game, you KNOW the name/man is legendary. You're in awe of the fact that you're next to him.
Or you behave like the (insert any or all of the names he's been called above) that Cook is.

Someone should send Cook a memo that he actually did Archie a favor by grabbing the trophy from him so abruptly. Archie's arms are tired from carrying around TWO very large heavy Heisman Trophys.
Caught up in the moment is a b.s. excuse. People with class are very cognizant of the moment and consciously behave with class. Btw, Calhoun or Scott were clearly the MVP. Cook wouldn't have even finished 3rd on my MVP ballot.

What a joke of a comment. Speculating Cook would have been voted a captain if they would have included 4th place in the Captains vote. LOL. "If there were 4 captains, he would be one." --says who? He couldn't even be selected as a top three, so you speculate that must mean he is 4th best leader? His douche behavior tells me otherwise.
Yes, and if they voted for 16 captains your kicker may be one too....

--Really? Jamies Winston won a National Championship and he was a very big douche at FSU.

I don't recall any other QBs "getting caught upon the moment" and having to apologize the next day for on field or post game behavior that is embarrassing.

Anybody hear Todd McShay talk about this on Russillo and Kanell? He said this is right in line with things he's heard about Cook. Wouldn't offer specifics YET on other things he's heard, but it sounds like there are some concerns/red flags that will likely affect his draft position.

I am also not buying the "caught up in the moment" explanation and I think the analysis above is hard to refute. If I recall, I believe there was also a moment preceding the trophy presentation where the TV camera showed Cook sitting away from his teammates shaking his head "no". I wondered right away what was wrong with him then, it looked quite petulant to me.

The fact he did not know who Archie was says volumes about this ass. Not because he didn't recognize him, but because of how he handled himself.

How you treat "all" people is one of the most revealing things about a person. This kid is a piece of shit. I wouldn't treat a homeless person with this little respect.

I wish Josey Jewell would have broken his ass in half. For real.:mad::mad::mad::confused:
