this kid is a class act and was a solid team member for Bald Eagle Area HS and then on to Lycoming. He was always in the race for a title and was a really nice kid to talk to. I HATE to ruin this with a question ...BUTTTTTTT ...With all of the good athletes on both the college and professional levels having sudden strokes lately does it make you wonder if the vaccinations had anything to do with them ? Just the conspiracy theorist side of me speaking out i guess ?????? Either way I wish Cooper the BEST and much success in his future endeavors, on and off the mats.

That is a very good question.

He certainly sounds like a great kid and is obviously plenty tough! I wish him well.

YES- It is a question that needs to be asked and answered! This is no joke and research should be taking place because you are correct. It would appear that we are seeing a lot more strokes in yourger kids, alone with some "mysterious" type deaths.

The only positive about COVID…when in doubt you can always pin - or consider the possibility of pinning - whatever ails you to COVID….

I agree we should research it but it sounds like this sort of thing though rare did happen before COVID. All said I’m elated at the kid’s return!!

No question it is. One of the most common reported side effects of the vaccine is myocarditis, a heart condition which is inflamation of the inner layer of the heart wall. Hits young males the hardest and has resulted in deaths.

Not really. A really good question would be prefaced with the background trend data he apparently has, a review of the 500 potential causes of a stroke (including covid and wrestling), background on the kid's history, and reasons he narrowed his interest/hypothesis to just 1 of the potential explanations.

P.S. This was a 'rhetorical response', no follow-up needed.

This has been in continual research since the vaccine first started.
