Something stunk in Pennsylvania and it wasn’t just the DUI charge Berwick police gave 52-year-old Flores Rivera.

According to an affidavit obtained by the Press Enterprise, police say Rivera became uncooperative with them while they were explaining the field sobriety tests they wanted him to perform.

“I explained to Flores that it was important to pay attention so that he completely understands the exercise,” the affidavit states.

It turns out that Flores was allegedly busy working on a much more pressing matter.

“Flores Rivera then farted and stated, ‘that’s for you,’ and started smelling the air, saying, ‘that’s what pork and mashed potatoes will do,’” police wrote in their report.
According to police, Rivera also refused to put his hands behind his back and they had to take him to the ground.

After allegedly having a .13 blood-alcohol level, Flores was booked on DUI charges and also was charged with driving with a suspended license and disorderly conduct.
