Cordell Pemsl

I also played in the NCAA tournament, bro.

If that's the case, why would you dis on another player that is also fortunate enough to also experience the Madness? None of your rationale for your posts/comments makes any sense and shows lack of any appreciation for a players efforts and hard work to get there, including yourself, apparently....JMO.

Pretty sure I saw you. Not sure that's really "playing" but you did a damn good job.

Pemsl would be behind CMAC and Keegan...Keegan might not have played if Pemsl had been available.
Pemsl original skill set was low post scorer and he lost weight trying to become a perimeter player.

Pemsl definitely is good team mate.

I agree he was a good teammate and I appreciate his time at Iowa. But as you mentioned, if he was here maybe Keagan wouldn't be playing as much. Knowing what we know now, I would rather have Keagan.

You soooo offended. Whaa whaa.

One can't say someone else sucks?

Is it possible that Fran sat down with Pemsl last offseason and let him know what his minutes would be, knowing what he had in the Murray brothers and everyone else coming back?

I don't recall - I understand why he left, but why did he pick Va Tech?

Seems like a good guy. Wish he could have advanced.

"Says the guy on a message board about a guy playing in the NCAA tournament."

Great logic, so if I go to the Dr. for a routine surgery and he amputates a hand I can't say he sucks because I have never been a Dr.?

Maybe Fran did. But even if he didn't I'm sure Pemsl looked how last year went and figured Nunge would just replace Kriener (sp?) and there wouldn't be any additional minutes for him. I'm just really surprised at where Pemsl went. I was expecting him to go to Drake or down a level.

As a freshman he was a bright spot on a lackluster 2017 Iowa team, after that, not so much. Injuries and lack of playing time limited his improvement from his first year at Iowa and ended up being a player that was blamed for just about everything that went wrong when he got playing time until he transferred to VTU. Glad he didn't give up he dreams of playing for money....

A great Hawk. His surprise appearance as the enforcer against ISU is legendary (in my brain at least). His lack of a reliable jump shot plus his lost agility due to injuries cost him what otherwise could have been a much more memorable career. But glad he was here.

I don't remember Cordell getting blamed for anything. Unfortunately, he came here with a history of physical problems. He played pretty well as a freshman, and then if I remember correctly, decided to lose weight, and it hampered his game. But I just don't remember that he was a scapegoat for any ills with the program. Maybe that's on me.
