What should his punishment be?

Must have missed OP’s missives towards Justice Thomas for voting on the document case which directly involved his wife.

Of course, OP also failed to notice that the restoration of the websites had nothing to do with USAID. It was the HHS, FDA, and CDC.

You’re embarrassing yourself OP. Again.

Each case is on its own. Thomas included.

Attacking the judicial branch is the first piece for consolidating power. We are watching the decline of western civilization in real time.
Activist judges behaving unconstitutionally and attempting to soft coup the executive should be impeached and imprisoned. That's not an attack on the judiciary lol the fact that his family seems to enrich itself off usaid is even more concerning. Very reminiscent of judge merchan and his daughter in New York actually. Leftists....

Of course she is. DC is a rat's nest of corruption and money laundering. Its a shame the left refuses to understand being opposed to Trump and supportive of fixing as much of this as possible aren't mutually exclusive. Party over country has unfortunately become their m.o.

Just out of curiosity I pulled up the charity that is supposedly laundering USAID funds into this corrupt Judge's pocket and shocker his wife doesn't receive any compensation.

Does he understand how to recuse himself from cases?
He does. He also understands, quite well and certainly better than you, what a judicial conflict is, and is not.

Look, I don't mind presidents pressing the envelope. I don't mind them getting sued for it or trying to cherry pick venues when they do. When they lose, I don't even mind when they try to interpret their loss narrowly. And I certainly don't mind them taking appeals (though I sorta prefer they follow the usual process rather than viewing every matter as something that fits within the narrow expedited procedures available that go straight to the top).

But when they do lose (even when it's on an issue I think or would have wanted them to win on), I expect them, and their supporters, to not take it like a goddamn two year old.

Now I know what you're thinking. But the funny thing is, the whole Jacksonian 'let them enforce it" story is more myth than reality. And of course adhering to and enforcing the court's decisions was good enough for Truman in the Steel Seizure case, Eisenhower in Brown, Nixon in Watergate, and on and on. Let's hope that the same will be said of Trump when push ultimately comes to shove at the end of the line.

Feel free to disregard all of the Democrats’ hypocritical warnings about the current threats to democracy. The nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court operate in about as pure a democracy as one will find, yet for years Democrats have been berating and attacking the court, undermining its very constitutional foundations and several of the justices personally.

That’s happens sometimes when justices leak draft opinions, conduct investigations into leaks that exclude themselves, rule on cases directly impacting their spouse, and can’t seem to file correct and/or timely financial disclosure reports.

Keep grasping, you'll grab a straw someday.😆

Sure, if he broke laws. Then yes, he should be prosecuted, and prison if found guilty.
You get that the Tweet you posted is wrong and stupid right? She was receiving funding BEFORE the case was ever heard, right? And he ruled AGAINST Trump. The conflict is on Trump's behalf. Not the judges. Not to mention it would only be a conflict if he ruled in favor of Trump since his wife was receiving money from the government. If Trump cancels her money, then it is he who is acting in conflict, due to the ruling.

we go through this any time trump and a judge have to interact

if that judge had ever expressed an opinion, knows any one who expressed an opinion or did something, or hasn't been 100% explicitly supportive of trump and anything he wants to do...then that judge is biased and corrupt and evil and must be removed
