I'm aware, but the writer was trying to make a Guyton vs CC22 proposition. If the Brazilian national coach is smart he won't have Guyton guarding Clark. IF she makes the team that is......
I sure she could make the team just for this one game at least. That would be a cool story.
Not really. Its a cool story for Iowa fans, but The Brazilians are putting together a team for World competitions, and the eventual Olympic team. I realize that Guytons Mom was a player for their national team, which is why she probably got the invite, but an Iowa player playing against CC22 probably doesn't mean as much to their coaches as selecting their top 12 players moving forward....
Bottom line is, this is an honor for her and it will be a great chance to get even better. I think this helps the Hawks
