Couple impressive feats....

What impresses me is the number of teams that we've had a 30 point lead on during Big Ten Play.
Nebraska at home (70-35)
MSU at home (84-52)
Northwestern at home (80-50)
Maryland away (77-45)
Plus a couple of 23 point leads against Minnesota in an away game.

And then our widest margin in a conference loss was 10 points at home against Purdue. Our average margin in the 7 conference losses to this point is under 6 points.

If this team gelled earlier in the season, we got some better refereeing in a few games, and Keegan wasn't hurt in the first Purdue game we could potentially have between 3 to 5 more conference wins and be sitting in first place.

They've jelled now.

This could be the most enjoyable team we have watched since 1987.

Keegan came close to being the first 25/20 guy since Sky King. in 1977.

King was a fan favorite when I was in college. He was a Keegan type player - the guy could really light it up and hit the boards.

"He finished his Iowa career with 1,361 points and averaged 21.0 points and 13.3 rebounds per game as a senior. He also averaged 18.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per game as a junior. He was selected second team All Big 10 by both wire services and to the NCAA Region Four All-Star Team."

I loved Sky King. For those who didn't see him play, think Reggie Evans but better offensive game. Still I don't think he had the all around offensive game that KM does. Probably a better (at least more consistent) board man though..

Add another one to the list. Biggest lead was 40 today (83-43).
