and just to make it fair, PD3 is going to wrestle the remainder of the team in a tag team best 2 of 3. PD2 is his partner. 
He's at 149 now, but I believe he is currently injured and will redshirt this season.
I am interested to see how Brendan Baker does against the Vega kid. Watched him wrestle a bit in high school. Wonder how his style will translate to the next level.
Not sure about "style" but would guess it is going to be an uphill climb from a pure talent standpoint.
Everyone over there says Meeks looks great in practice just never translates to live competition

Results like this that leave you with absolutely no confidence in KJ to do anything regardless of how good the recruits are.
Some decent results. Boston keeping it close with Hall is interesting, but is that because of familiarity or because Boston is that good. I would ask the same if Harrington and Colbray but Colbray is new to the room and the whole he pinned him not won a close match blocking off a guys go to move.

2 questions on clone roster: is Trevor Paulson a younger brother or cousin of the twins? And what happened to the 4 timer from AZ 2 years ago that was supposed to be a world beater for isu?
Ryak Finch transferred to Grand View. He was a three timer in Az. Won two NAIA titles and was 56-0 last year...52/56 of his matches were bonus points.
Finch? He used up his eligibilty two years ago. And left ISU for Grand View two years prior.
Reading from the posts here, this is EXACTLY the first thing that crossed my mind. And Meeks being a senior and barely beating a youngster also plays into the idea that very few kids improve once they hit the room. Gadson was an aberration,.
KJ has a tough decision to make regarding Colbray. He might be the best they have at that weight, but he's going to be a guy that gets schooled later in the season and tourney time just based on how physical older guys are.
Colbray AA's this year for sure. If that happens dead money on the books with MH. I bet they keep the shirt on.
You may be right, but I have a hard time believing KJ doesn't wrestle Colbray. MH is dead money, regardless, having already used redshirt year. I still think there's pressure on KJ to win. Does KJ really think there's enough talent in the room and coming to try and stock up for a top ten run? I sure don't. Hall is a AA(5-7), Weatherspoon caught fire at the right time, but I don't see him AAing this year, Downey should AA(3-7). He needs points THIS year.
