COVID-19 Thread

This goes completely against all of the polling. Biden is actually under-performing Clinton (who herself already significantly under-performed) with Black, Latino, and young voters. His poll lead is because seniors in the suburbs have abandoned Trump in droves since the pandemic began.

The vast majority of voters have little interest or knowledge about "the social justice movement." In fact, Biden has gone to great lengths to distance his campaign from it, both in the primary and now.

If Trump loses, it will be because older voters want a return to normalcy (might as well be the slogan of the Biden campaign). The pandemic is just the chaos that pushed that desire over the top.

Well looks like this was wrong....

Trump wins FL by 3%+, home of all the old people that are afraid Trump will kill them with covid

But loses WI by less than 1% and will probably lose MI by less than 2% likely due to record turnout in the cities

Lol hanging onto that one for a while huh?

Actually it turned out to be almost completely right. Biden significantly underperformed Clinton with Latinos/Black voters (especially Latinos), costing him Florida, NC, and Texas (we'll see about Georgia too). He was able to survive (assuming things continue where they're heading currently) those losses with improved numbers in the suburbs amongst voters who want a return to normalcy.

I think Trump would have romped to victory if it weren't for covid. Biden was a terrible candidate propped up because he was the only one who could beat Sanders in the end. It almost cost the dems, and it really cost them down ballot where their candidates had no platform to run on other than "Trump bad."

Get your ass in the basement quick. Your friends in Portland would agree 120 days of inclusion and tolerance can't be wrong
