He's now ripping their "soft" schedule and referring to them as the new Iowa.

This clown is Mr. Hindsight 20-20.

Somehow it's Wisconsin's fault that Michigan, BYU and Nebraska are having unexpected down years. If Wisconsin played the same schedule this year with last season's results, the schedule would look like this.

Michigan 10-3
Nebraska 9-4
BYU 9-4
Minnesota 9-4
Iowa 8-5
Northwestern 7-6

In no way could that schedule be argued as soft when it was assigned. In fact the preseason Coaches Poll had Michigan ranked #9 and BYU, Northwestern, Iowa, Minnesota, Maryland and Nebraska all receiving votes.

Well at least he is consistent, but I would argue Wisconsin has played a tougher schedule than Alabama.
They have. Bama is #120 in SOS. Too lazy to look up wisky. Just saw a Reddit post about it yesterday.

Iowa 2015 should not be compared in any way to Wisky 2015,. At this point in the season, Iowa had two road victories over ranked teams, including Wisky and we pasted the Purple Kittens. Sure, Wisky plays Mich this year and Iowa missed Mich/PSU/OSU/MSU, but Wisconsin may only see 1 ranked team in the Wolves if they sneak back into the Top 25. However, Bucky will get its shot in the Big Ten Title Game.

In coward's view, a series of games vs Mich, PSU, tOSU when all are in a down year and unranked is harder than a series vs Nebby, jNW and MSU when they are all ranked. Bottom line: he only recognizes blue bloods (even when they suck) and is, in general, a moron.

The only thing I like about this is that he's taking a shit on Wisconsin. I have no problem with that; I will NEVER have a problem with that! :D

His MO is the same. Rip on a passionate fanbase in smaller markets in order to get clicks. The blue bloods and 5 stars that he loves especially in LA where he is based could care less what he says. In the last couple years he has made Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Aaron Rodgers his favorite targets. See a common theme?

I'd make the argument that if you want to earn a playoff spot as a non-blue blood program the best way to do that is win all of your games so the softer the schedule the better.

Like the schedule or not we were an inch away from a playoff bid in 2015 with a weak schedule. Had we thrown in a tough non-con and lost it even by a point we would not have been in the playoff even with a win over MSU. They would have taken OSU sitting there with 1 loss just like they did last year over champ PSU.

Folks it does not pay to lose games now matter how good the opponent unless you are a blue blood program like Bama, OSU, etc. Wisky wins out and they are in the playoff. A loss and they are out.

Yet YOU continue to listen so whose fault is it?

Disagree. If the winner of the B1G championship game has one loss they are in.

Depends who it is. Wisky is not getting in with 1 loss being the champ but yes OSU will.

Edit ... PSU was the 1 loss champ last year and did not get in... OSU did who lost head-2-head to PSU.

Aaron Rodgers??? What's his problem with Rodgers other than him getting hurt this year?

CC is a complete moron but he has a nation of even bigger morons who think he's deep and edgy, so he just says something and they run with it.

I do think the B1G needs to do a little better job balancing out the cross division games. It is not totally predictable but in general PSU, tOSU, MSU and Michigan are likely to be much better than Indiana, Rutgers and Maryland. It hasn't been too bad overall but Wisconsin's schedule was ridiculously hard last year and is ridiculously easy this year.

My thought is to get rid of the divisions and go to a 10 game conference schedule. Then play the championship game featuring the two highest rated teams in the CFP rankings at the end of the regular season. It would eliminate a lot of issues and promote the highest rated teams for the CFP.

We'll see. I think a one loss Wisconsin team would get in over Oklahoma or Clemson based on who they lost to.

We will see but I doubt it seriously... the committee will find a way to take Oklahoma or Clemson over Wisky assuming they all have 1 loss. This is a made for TV event and ESPN wants brand name programs in the CFP whenever possible. Wisky is not a chump but does not garner the nationwide respect the other 2 do. Lots of games to be played yet for all teams.

Cowerd is so uninteresting. Just pick out the most obvious front runner and slob on their knob.

Its the same topics every time ive listened.

Lebron, Brady, Belichek, Nick Saban, Sam Darnled. Repeat.

Last comment. ESPN wants eyeballs. B1G country offers up eyeballs. Michigan St. got in.

Agree entirely so that's the question when you line up the fan bases and interest of Oklahoma, Clemson and Wisky. I also think you are discounting the possibility that a 1 loss OSU would be taken over a 1 loss B1G champ in Wisky if that plays out for the very same reason. A 1 loss PSU might come into play also with a 1 loss Wisky.

Bottom line is this ... Wisky like Iowa has to win out regardless of their strength of schedule. They do that and they are in. That's point for non-blue bloods.

If Wisky has one loss and wins the championship game over OSU or PSU, both of those teams would have two losses.

When they take shots at Wisconsin this year and Iowa in years past they are taking shots at the Big Ten West. They are saying it is weak and undeserving. That's not good for Iowa in the long run, to always have to overcome the biased that the West is perceived to be weak.

Why anyone would listen to Cowherd is beyond me. If I need the opinions of an inflammatory troll I'll just come here.
