Bullshit. I understand 100% his second half decision not to play. . Look what happened to the ISU safety, who played. His NFL career took a serious hit with his knee injury. Nothing dissolves a man’s integrity like $$. However, I am sure this was decision that the player, the coaches AND the team were all involved with making and accepted. It has nothing to do with “ integrity” any more…and in today’s world, it was the right thing to do….and the smart thing to do, also. Perhaps the selfish ones here might be those who think the player was acting out of selfishness?
As annoying as some of his tactics can be it's tough to argue with the results. 3 years ago the team won zero games and would be lucky to beat any FCS teams as well. Granted, his kids happen to be really good at football so that helped out a lot. The real test will come when he doesn't have them to rely on anymore.
