Credit to Deion.

I
Credit to Deion on having such a well-disciplined team :p
I'm not watching the game, are they being clowns? Lol
I know they are getting their ass kicked, are they being undisciplined morons?
I'm guessing so, one thing you can never take away from Kirk, the team does and has always played with class.
Makes you proud to be a Hawk.

Colorado is not being clowns. They are getting their ass kicked. BYU is a much better team tonight.

He has Travis and Shedeur playing. Number 1 and 3 projected in the draft.
Deion said get your ass out there.
Building not just football players, but men.
Honor your commitment.
The announcers said both players took out YUGE insurance policies in case of injury, supposedly the largest in CFB history. Prime and the Buffs’ AD wouldn’t reveal the amount so who knows?

dumb penalties, particularly pre-snap
bad tackling
poor special teams play

Still wondering how Sanders is considered a better pro prospect than Cam Ward?

After yesterday, that is a really good question. I admittedly have not seen much of cam this season, but have to believe he has been as equally impressive this year being a heisman finalist. Seems to have a better build than shedeur as well.

Ward was really impressive yesterday. Miami wins if he plays 2nd half.
Ward was impressively selfish. Total quitter. Either you are playing or you're not. There is no excuse for what he did.

In any case....I'm truly glad Iowa State got the win!

Bullshit. I understand 100% his second half decision not to play. . Look what happened to the ISU safety, who played. His NFL career took a serious hit with his knee injury. Ward is looking at millions of dollars here.. and he proved his point. Ward was far and away the best footballer on the field that day… even in just one half.

Can't be the best if you aren't on the field. Injury or choice you don't play and you are not the best.

Guys like that will always think of themselves first.

Colorado took out the policies. Seems like a decent idea to keep the team together through the end

I call bullshit on him AND you, dipshit. He quit on his team and it cost them a bowl win. So....just so I understand....he was sure he could play the first half with no risk of injury....but SOMEHOW the risk would appear in the 2nd half? Come on you bullshitter....be a man and call it what it was. He got his record and then quit. Quit on his team. Pussy.

No he didn’t. He and his coach made an adult decision. Sorry. This is the 21st century, not 1960….and even this septuagenerian understands this. Bob Dylan sang a song about 60 years ago that you ought to listen to….part of the lyric is “the times, they are a Changin’…”
We don’t have to like the changes..or even agree with them but accept the facts…

I wondered going into the game if the plan was to play the first half and then hand the keys to the backup. I was initially surprised he was going to play at all, and i don’t blame him one bit; winning the pop tarts bowl vs Iowa St isn’t quite at the same level of achievement as getting drafted in the top 3 spots.

"Adult" decision? Yes indeed....here's how the decision went down: "I'm all about me, I dont care about the team, I'll play long enough to get that record....then F those guys."

You can quote your lyrics all you want, dumbass. Things do change. But the one thing that shouldn't change is integrity and being a man.

Now run along and listen to some Dylan so you can learn more about shit changing.

Nothing dissolves a man’s integrity like $$. However, I am sure this was decision that the player, the coaches AND the team were all involved with making and accepted. It has nothing to do with “ integrity” any more…and in today’s world, it was the right thing to do….and the smart thing to do, also. Perhaps the selfish ones here might be those who think the player was acting out of selfishness?

As annoying as some of his tactics can be it's tough to argue with the results. 3 years ago the team won zero games and would be lucky to beat any FCS teams as well. Granted, his kids happen to be really good at football so that helped out a lot. The real test will come when he doesn't have them to rely on anymore.

not like he was playing for a natty championship. It was decided ahead of time.

Stop saying the "players" were in on the decision. You don't know that. In fact, I find it highly doubtful the team ("players") had anything to do with it. Get real man....you're living in lala land.

So you know “the players” weren't consulted? I said they MIGHT have been…but J wouldn’t be surprised they knew this was the plan.
I believe J am in reality.. abd as far as J can see, this was a perfectly understandable and reasonable decision. That is a lot of $$ that the QB is risking by playing..I’m thinking he is a Top 5 draft pick this Spring.

Always proud to lose with class.
