I know this was speculated, but Kyle confirmed via twitter. He Hausa broken foot in two places and is having surgery. Tough break for him and the Cowpokes

It appears that John pulled the RS on Jr. for nothing.

Injuries are impossible to predict and can easily destroy a team's chances. When Brock, Smith and Crutchmer were healthy, OkState looked like they had a great shot. Smith pulled out the stops because he is losing Klimara, Dieringer and Marsden after this season.

Also, I wouldn't mock the injury gods. Iowa has issues of their own that we need to be resolved very soon for Iowa to have a chance at winning it all.

What would make you think I was mocking the injury Gods, or blaming Smith for going all in? Penn State has been the only team that doesn't lose their top guys to injury. Ok State, Iowa, Minn have all lost multiple top performers in recent years.

Hoyt,

I wasn't saying you were intentionally doing so. It is just my experience, that when you point out others bad luck it often comes back to you.

With OkState's injuries, I will be cheering for Iowa even harder as themat will be even more PSU biased than it already is. It's sad because I really wouldn't have any issue with PSU winning. I just can't stand some of the fans that post nonstop and would love to see them denied the happiness of winning.

Watching Rogers wrestle Realbuto is a much better indicator than the Ramos match. Ramos has had a very good regular season but he will be hard pressed to AA. Rogers has the "puncher's chance" factor, but his tournament ceiling is much lower than Crutchmer's. Plus, I am a firm believer that NCAA tourney experience is huge and once you have AA'd top 6, you have an edge doing so again.

Believe me, I have been touting OkState all season long, but losing Brock and Crutchmer while also having Smith at less than 100% is killer.

Do yourself a favor and stop even checking themat. It is where personality disorders go to thrive.

Let see, Crutchmer out and C Rogers comes in and beats the #2 in the weight and is now ranked in top 5, no drop off (more bonus points)

Rogers is a ton of fun to watch. It's the not the #2 guy you have to be worried about with him beating it's the #10-20 guys and the jc guy(yes I know he's good).

How soon we forget. PSU had 2 #1 recruits in Caels' first year that ended up with one AA total. Names Alton and Alton.

Also pulled the shirt on lil Marsden for a few duals but still gave the spot to another guy not projected to contribute much in the post season. Almost KJ like.... (just jokes people)
I honestly don't expect weigel to even qualify for the big dance I thought Marsden had more potential that became evident after weigel lost to chip ness

I root for anyone over MSU because of all the obnoxious MSU fans.

PS. Bucknell sucks too.

I am not sure MSU has ANY fans left in Wrestling. Although, in a few other sports, we definitely have our share of obnoxious fans.

Considering what Wirnsberger has to work with, he is doing a fine job!
