I'm sure the usual suspects will be here to piss and moan but not even the nuttiest of you bastards can call gun ownership an infectious disease. What a dipshit.

It's more of a demidemic.

Why are you equating gun ownership with gun violence?

Merriam or Webster, or maybe both seem ok with the use.

The NY Daily News is pretty far left. Might be why the article reads that way. Not all news sources are accurate and unbiased, right?
I just linked the first article I found, the quote is the quote. You can read 100 articles on the subject at hand I'm sure. I just think the guy is a dipshit for using a buzz word especially when you consider his actions specific to said recent buzzword.

The quintessential pisspants when triggered over the topics of guns/hunting
I'm laughing at his use of a shock and awe buzzword that was used incorrectly. He could have said "this is an event of pandemic proportion" but that doesnt hit you in the feels, or garner the possible government assistance, that "this is a pandemic" does. This butt**** wont do shit about guns.

Somebody doesn't understand the difference between "epidemic" and "pandemic".
