He talked about being blue collar on Tonight's "The Journey". Maybe I missed some, but did they ever say, or does anyone know, what his Mom and Dad do for a living?

His comment about up at five and or working until dark made me wonder if he isn't the son of a farmer.

Anyway, I admire his hard work ethic and lack of any desire to showboat. And, my compliments to the people who raised him!

His dad was an electician for Amana and his mom managed a Casey's. I just read it in an article.......If I can find it, I will post it.

Doesn't surprise me at all.......he seems like a pretty grounded kid......even with the success he is having this year........great representative for the Hawks.

I am biased but Iowa kids are raised well. I work in Vegas and see no decency or courtesy everyday.
