It's already a federal law that you have to have US citizenship to vote in federal/state/local (most) elections. Not that I expect anyone associated with the GOP to know that (especially someone with the enormous intellect of Laura f***ing Loomer).

Seems like the bill would make it more difficult for millions of Americans to vote.
Roughly half the country does not have a passport, so people must either get one, find a birth certificate, or order one.( of those 3 will require a monetary investment)
This is the kind of BS legislation for points instead of good governance, at least the GOP no longer claims to be for small government.

You would have to provide proof of citizenship, either a passport or a birth of certificate with a DL
