Just a snapshot, and we know that "you have to break stuff to fix it" which is weird since if it was already broken, why does it need to be broken more. Market was inflated and overvalued before, this is meerly a correction. Perhaps, but why does it always happen under Trump?

That isn't a good look. Looks like Trump is already blinking on some of his tariff threats. There are absolutely a couple of winners in there, but....

For the more simple folks. Red is bad, green is good.

Trump will cave or some combination of Canada Mexico caving.

Long term, not worried.

If you were going to cash out stock to buy a boat, I would wait.

Correct , Corrupt Thump is great destroying shit but has no idea how to fix anything, and it will decades to repair everything. He will go down as the dumbest POS OF ANY president.

Already cashed out a bunch. Bought a car with what I saved. I'll put that money back to work when the markets figure out what the **** is going on. Thanks for the advice anyway. FWIW my wealth advisor shared your opinion with me about a month ago so you're in good company.

As an aside, I agree with you that Trump will flinch when he sees the disastrous results of these actions. Much damage is being done in the meantime. I disagree that this won't have longer term impacts. Market dislocations often result in permanent reallocations of trade.

So much money gets auto dumped into the market with 401ks I think it has a shorter memory than 40 years ago.

I plan on retiring in a couple years and I am not worried at all. Market had a terrible year in 2022 and followed that with two whoppers.

Yeah. I'm already retired. I still have a lot of money in stocks that I know I will never need. I just have a much higher level of MM cash than I had a month or 2 ago.
