He seems to have a bad case of Clinton Derangement Syndrome, and is apparently none too bright:
Curt Schilling has some thoughts on Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, mainly that “she should be buried under a jail somewhere.”
The ESPN analyst made the comments on Tuesday during an interview on Kansas City’s 610-AM sports radio show with Danny Parkins and Carrington Harrison.
His main issue with the former secretary of state is her use of a private email server, a topic that came up after the State Department finally released the last batch of her emails on Monday. Schilling repeated comments often made by Republican Donald Trump, questioning if Clinton could even make it to the general election without criminal charges against her.
“If she’s allowed to get to the general election before she’s in prison, I’ll be stunned and upset,” he said.
When asked if he thinks Clinton will go to prison, Schilling said he hopes she does.
“If I’m gonna believe, and I don’t have any reason not to believe, that she gave classified information on hundreds if not thousands of emails on a public server after what happened to General Petraeus, she should buried under a jail somewhere.”
Army Gen. David Petraeus was forced to resign in 2012 following a sex-and-secrets scandal.
Schilling also said that he’s fed up with both parties and isn’t pleased that Trump has grand plans but has failed to offer specifics on how he’d implement many of his proposals.
The comments about Clinton start around the 28-minute mark of the audio:
This isn’t the first time Schilling has made controversial comments on politics.
In October, he declared that ISIS won the Democratic debate and in August, he was pulled off the air at ESPN after an offensive tweet and Facebook post that compared Muslims to Nazis.
