I think it might be more of a genetic problem, i.e., his family members might be his closest advisors.

Such a strange trajectory for a much lauded player that never gained any traction at the collegiate level.

Well, if you spend much time talking to people at Iowa, or especially in the tOSU athletic department and probably Marquette (I don't know any Marquette people) they will tell you Carton is not a good kid but a problem that's ultra sensitive to any criticism, blames everyone around him, usually because of racism, will not accept coaching or direction of any kind and is surrounded by a family, or at tOSU his "friends" all encourage that behavior.

I'm working on a political project and have new group of "friends" of my own in Columbus. Had a video conference today and, with this thread up from yesterday, asked about Bettendorf's finest. The consensus was glad to get him off campus without some kind of lawsuit.
