Ohio State, Indiana, Michigan, and Minnesota are going to win. I think Iowa could do it against Stanford. I like Northwestern over Tennessee, but I'm partial. Certainly that's not a #37 game. Wisconsin's defense is incredible and USC doesn't play defense. I think that's closer to a toss up. Georgia with a new coach, no Nick Chubb. Who was Georgia's best win this year? Auburn at 6-6 or 8-4 Georgia Southern (in overtime). I'm done thinking MSU is going to lose. They can play with anyone and Alabama's offense plays into MSU's defense.

I agree having Iowa and jNW up there with that much confidence isn't something I would do, but it doesn't surprise me. Everyone loves Stanford this season (I don't get it) and no one wants to give jNW any love. But Florida has no offense whatsoever and ND is banged up and overrated as usual.

Who cares? He predicted that we would beat Michigan State and he was wrong about that as well.

As far as calling him a tool, I don't understand that at all.

All year long he has been saying GREAT things about Iowa..taking our side when talking to other national people. What a "Tool" for constantly saying all year how good Iowa is and that he'd rank us number 2 ahead of Alabama. If an Iowa fan hates Danny Kannell after this season..you just don't like anybody. You might want to consider becoming a hermit.

I definitely think Iowa can win... Eliminate McCaffrey getting into space and their offense is pretty much one dimensional. Eliminate the big playmaker and there go the big plays that have helped them all season... That and we have a shut down corner on the outside already and legit d line and backers so running and passing will be difficult already.... 38 confidence score is baffling to me

Having watched Northwestern/Stanford and Northwestern/Iowa, I was not at all impressed with how Stanford's defensive line was pushed around by Northwestern's Oline. We didn't get a lot of push versus too many teams. On the other hand, Northwestern's Dline pushed around a lot of offensive lines, but got completely manhandled in the 2nd half by Iowa (I wish I could be nicer to my own team, but I'll stick to the facts). I don't see how Stanford's dline is going to hold up to Iowa's online. I think you run them over.

Kannell is actually one of the good ones in my opinion, like others said, he actually talked highly of Iowa all year. I agree his confidence picks are perplexing, but who really cares?

I don't think Kannell is a tool, but some of those picks are a little bizarre in terms of "confidence points." The B1G has been scrutinized as being an inferior P5 conference for a number of years now. And you know what? The B1G has had a good showing in bowl games almost every season. I don't see this year being any different.

Many of those are questionable for having that high of confidence points, but the Georgia over Penn State at 40 is just asinine. There are about a dozen other games with more lopsided point spreads, Georgia has been one of the most disappointing teams in the nation in one of the weakest divisions in P5, with a new head coach and without one of their best players, and doesn't really have any impressive wins all year. He must have a buddy that's a coach or something. Also, not only does he pick all 10 B1G teams to lose, but 7 of them are in the upper half of confidence points. Whatever. Haters gonna hate.

I agree 100%. Beat the crap out of them up front all game (that's what the BIG is known for) and scheme to eliminate mccaffrey as much as possible and I think the Hawks can take this one, not easily, but I don't think it will be a 3 point game either. I believe we ca wear them down and get them out of rhythm
