I remember Paramount rum. Basically nail polish remover. Admiral Nelsons was really popular as the Captain substitute when I was in school and you were really hard up if you stooped down to Paramount. It was easier to drink Hawkeye mixed with anything than a Paramount and coke after your first Paramount hangover. That sticks with you.I slammed down a whole bottle of paramount rum back in ‘93. Nearly died but they got me breathing again. I didn’t drink for at least two weeks after that.
