At least two dirty plays last night. The BIG Office must look at his pattern of behavior, and that of the entire Wisconsin coaching staff. This behavior is absolutely condoned by them, or it wouldn't keep happening. I'm a big fan of Dean Oliver, and hope he ends up at home someday soon, but I hope he is not involved supporting these antics.

Kinda reminds me of the eye-poking Woodbury used to do. It happened way too often to be incidental. Granted I wouldn't say Woodbury is a dirty player like Davidson, but Adam's ability to find the opponent's eye was dangerous and not necessary.

Funny how he says he didn’t know what he did, only the result. The official walked right into the middle of the Wisconsin huddle and explained what he did and the result...you could hear the explanation on TV. And he definitely took a swipe at JW’s legs on a three point attempt and knocked him to the floor. Davidson is a pos and should be suspended.

He has replaced Brian Cardinal as my most despised opposing player. I remember when Gatens was cheap-shotted by Joe Krabbenhoft in a Wisky game several years ago. Krabbenhoft is now an assistant coach. This is nothing new for the Badgers.

His explanation of what play vs MN last year is comical. Trying to explain away why you stood there oddly with your leg stuck out under Jordan Murphy.

I agree he went for a layup, missed, and landed with his leg out that direction, but then he holds it there for no reason other than hoping that Murphy lands or trips on his foot/leg. He even leans further over in that direction, taking another step in the direction under Murphy, a very odd way to stand while "trying to get the rebound"
 
It's not just Davison . The entire Badger team is chock full of cheap shot artists. Their freshman Wahl, threw a blatant elbow into Garza's head last night, so he'll fit right in. I assume Gard (and before, Ryan) doesn't coach those tactics, so they must recruit kids who are inclined to play however dirty they have to in order to win.

Every BT team WI plays from here on out should 'start' one walk-on, who's responsibility in the 1st minute is to take out Davison on a hard-screen, hook/tackle him to take a knee out....elbow to the head.....something.

Sure, he'll get ejected, and you'll eat two points.

Beat the living shit out of this human stain every game the rest of the season, until he's done. If the BT office won't do it, take it upon yourselves. Make sure he finishes the season missing no fewer than 3 teeth.:cool:

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. He's the basketball equivalent of a hockey goon. He has very little skill (for this level, anyway) and gets playing time because of his extreme roughness and ability to agitate the other team and try and draw them into doing something stupid. I think the B10 should come down hard on this guy and let it be known this kind of antics is not going to be tolerated. One of these days, he's going to hurt someone for real. That is going to cause an on-the-court fight. And the other team is going to point directly to all of this nonsense and say "See B10, this is YOUR fault because you refused to do a d*** thing about it."

Potter is no more than a hired goon. He is really big and looks pretty strong. He is in there for one reason only: rough up the opponent. Hate guys like that.

I'm not gonna lie, I was sitting there wishing last night we had Amani Jones to send out there. Let Davison take a charge from him, problem solved.

This is an email concerning the conduct of Brad Davison of the Wisconsin Badgers. As you are most likely aware, he received a flagrant last night for punching Connor McCaffery below the belt. I’d also like to send a link to a play that the officials did not catch last night that was also unsportsmanlike and can cause serious injury to another player. Here is the link to the play:

I am concerned for the safety of the student athletes in the Big Ten. This player is a habitual offender and should be punished for his actions.

This afternoon I saw a clip from the opposite side of the court, clearly showing a deliberate swipe toward's Connor's nutsack.

This asshole is embarrassing their program.
 
The more replays I watch, the more and more I’m getting pissed. Hopefully someone can make a gif or replay of Wahl’s behavior last night. I could have put this in the “Wahl” thread, but it fits just as well here too.


Second half: 13:17 mark - Iowa scores and Wahl flops intentionally tackling Garza. Garza wanted a flop called but according to Bardo, tells both players to chill out. Garza then has words with Potter on the other end.

a short time later (one minute to be exact) 12:17 - Wahl nails Fredrick with an elbow to the chin. Bardo calls it a basketball move even though it’s an extended elbow above his head. CJ did not enter Wahl’s cylinder and it was extended. This was reviewed and deemed okay by the dipshit Boroski.

The worst one was 2H 11:36 - Wahl lines up his left elbow and delivers it right into Garza’s chin. This one was not reviewed or discussed but was clearly the most obvious.

Agreed. He needs to ride the pine. Good thing he didn't get too close to Connor after that!
Edit to say further, upon the suspension, place the culprit in a red and white candy-striped suit and park his tail firmly on the bench for all to see.

See if Brands will lone them a wrestler for 1 game. Just go in there and level him like Robert Parish did to Laimbeer back in the day.

It's gotten to the point where that sort of a message needs to be sent before he causes someone to blow their knee out.

Players get poked in the eye in basketball all the time.

The ball has to pass by your face to shoot. People swipe at it.

I can only think of one guy in the world whose hands seem to frequently end up in other guys junk when going around screens.

Cardinal seriously might have been the most annoying player in history.

A bald guy sliding around on the floor on gigantic knee pads every other play was obnoxious as ****.

But comparing him to a **** like Davidson is an insult to Cardinal.

Cardinal was annoying Davidson is disgusting.
