Dean Heil pinned. Three times.

Can we all agree that many falls are called on contact rather than by count? Maybe Hagerty goes by the rule as written, but many do not. I suspect Hagerty doesn't either.
I don't think so, but if they are calling contact falls, someone is calling it wrong.

FWIW, I thought Boyd was pinned earlier than called. Even my 12 year old who idolizes Nolan thought so. So maybe Hagerty counts slower than some others?

Unless the person posting the picture actually watched the match and realizes that it was not as you described in your roll through freeze frame scenario.

I watched the match as well. The thing I noticed is the official LOOKING RIGHT AT THE SHOULDER THAT NEEDED TO TOUCH and in great position to call a fall if one was there.

And I have yet to hear anyone tell me why the official wouldn't call a fall if there was one? Like a real, tangible reason that doesn't involve aluminum foil hats.

Let us not pretend that the fact that all three matches discussed here involved the #1 ranked wrestler (Perry, Stieber and Heil) getting the benefit of the no call on the potential fall. No tin foil hat needed, it's just very convenient or one heck of a coincidence. And yes, I understand that it has happened to other wrestlers not ranked #1. But it is odd how one has not been called on a top ranked guy even though match evidence shows that some were just as flat for just as long as many controlled and un-controlled falls that have been called. I am suggesting that the top ranked guy may get a little more time to raise that one shoulder off the mat compared to your average Joe.

Don't know about aluminum foil hats, but there were plenty of tin foil hats around the arena after the Perry/Evans match. I know, I had one on too. BTW...I'm still wearing it, Suriano was faking his injury!!
