Is the dual component a dual ranking?
I hear what you're saying, pumpdog, but don't bash the whole thing because it needs a simple tweak. This and andegre's site are nice additions to the landscape. I think this one probably just needs less weight given to strength of schedule and more given to returning NCAA points or some other variable that more fully captures Imar's dominance. On the whole it's reasonably consistent with the human-based rankings, and to the extent that it can add something to the conversation that those rankings may overlook, I think that's great.Wrestling is the one sport that doesn't need algorithm-based rankings. Everything gets settled on the mat. So because IMAR S.O.S. hasn't been as good, you don't have enough information to know that he's the best 157lber?

I would be curious as to how close the final one is to actual all americans

Like matching up all OSU individuals vs the Mizzou individuals?PapaBear, yes, but it's a dual ranking made by matching up all of the teams' individuals against each other.
Last year's for reference.I would be curious as to how close the final one is to actual all americans
