Gotcha, was just curious if that was always the case or if they were boosting it with a whole hawk roster. Good to hear that's what they always do, Mitchell is a standup guy so i'd imagine that wasn't the case. I do love both Toppling and Pulpit, have heard the atmosphere at Pulpit is awesome but enjoy some Pseudo.

Had a conversation recently in a public setting with a lady I'd never met, who asked why I wasn't out Deer hunting (guess she figured it's a 100% participation rate! And all the males are supposed to be out in the boonies - Ha!). I just said I didn't realize it was that week it was starting, and I don't hunt Deer. She replied " I'm not real big on people shooting Bambi". And I replied "I'm not real big on running into one ever day on the highway either". Her reply "Good point". Ha!

We shot a whole pile of roosters opening weekend. Sweated our ballzov, but had a blast. Pheasant numbers are back big time!

Yes the rut should be in full swing so I am hoping a giant comes walking by thinking with his pecker while I send a Rage his way to let him know he is not alone!
And yes SE Iowa hunting is heaven.
They gave the world Jesse Ventura and Al Franken, so I'm guessing not.
