Color me hooked on watching ADS, but for the love of God, I can't comprehend the rules there...

I’d be nuts if I lost that semi match. They must have taken points away from the pull on the singlet. Why did they stop the pancake?
that match was all Desantos.... to watch such a crappy job of officiating was painful and It was difficult to even follow what the hell the scoring was. I mean it was sloppy and inconsistent and it seemed as if the ref was clueless at times. Oh well live and learn , he can be a force on the international scene with is high pace motor and his attacking style.
I thought that semis match was well officiated and that Ukraine’s corner should get credit for seeing the singlet grab and tossing the brick.
Nice to see Austin changing his style, like others I’ll watch ADS wrestle anytime, always entertaining and no shortage of attacks.

I’d like to see the criteria rules simplified to last point scored.
It’s because ads had a few one pt scores while his opponent had all 2 pt scores.
If all scores had been equal, for example all 2’s, then the last person to score would have won the criteria.
I personally think they should get rid of criteria and just go into OT.
they’ve improved on freestyle rules…..that would be the icing on the cake imo
Lol I’ve never seen someone try to hug Desanto after beating him (or losing to him) like that. I’m assuming the dude may not be aware of Desanto’s reputation of being a bit of a loose cannon in high intensity situations.
It’s the head games foreign wrestlers play to get in your head, even after a match.
Guys, ads wasn't "robbed" those are literally the rules. I think most people would prefer some kind of OT in the event of a tie, but uww has said no to date on that front. You could see the Ukrainian running the match/points back in his head before he got up. More scoring awareness on his part but ads is young in Freestyle and has a bright future ahead of him. Love the Ukrainian response to the fish hook tie as well as the respect at the end. He could not have cared less about ads known extra curriculars
The first sequence 3-2 Desanto? It could have went 4-0 DeSanto. How does UKR score there, when UKR’s body was completely under DeSanto’s during the turn?
Ukraine should have been on the clock at 1:00 minute mark of the first at the latest, and passivity call made against him.

The 2nd flurry went 2-0 UKR or was it 4-0 UKR? It must have been 4 because the match was tied at 6 and he won on 3 2pt. moves.
It could’ve went 4-2 UKR I thought DeSanto had the initial TD.
Push out 1 DeSanto.
Final TD 2 DeSanto.
So I saw it as 8-6 or 10-6 DeSanto, plus a passivity call on UKR for another possible point.
I’d like to hear your take on why it was scored correctly.
I wasn’t trying to imply the hugs were aimed at AD’s extra curriculars, just making mention of International mind games.
What counters/strategy did you like about defending DeSanto’s fish hook. Posting his hand down, getting wrist control. Walking up an undertook opposite side and going to inside leg position?
