Biden was essentially fired from his job but they let him continue to be there for a few months after being fired. No company would do this. Truman chose not to run as he figured 7 years as President was plenty..LBJ was weighed down by 1)Viet Nam and 2) personal health so he opted out. Pretty simple. Personally, I would have preferred Biden would have opted out and announced so after the ‘22 mid-terms. But that’s all stuff that happened. Both Truman and LBJ were interesting men if their times and both were hassled by military issues if the day. LBJ hassled by the war and Truman hassled by that prick Mac Arthur.
