Dennis Wrestling in Spain

Dan Dennis just moved into the semis in Spain with an 11-1 tech fall over Canada. Had a 10-0 tech but the ref gave points prematurely which Canada challenged but Dennis got it done ten seconds later.

The link is below. From what I can tell freestyle is being wrestled on mats 3 and 4. Mark Hall, Anthony Valencia, James Green, David Taylor, and a few other studs are all wrestling in this as well.

On a side note, twitter is not happy about the finish to the James Green gold medal match. I was watching DD and missed it. Anybody want to get some cliff notes?

It was a sloppy mess. Came down to horrible reffing. And Green still won. Green was in on the Italian multiple times just couldn't finish. Won 5-4 I believe

Most of the better guys are at the Olympic weights so it definitely wouldn't get easier. Next year's trials will be the most fun/anticipated yet. Lots of Hawkeye hopefuls, Nittany Lions looking for redemption and young phenoms trying to prove they are "the guy" going forward.

Congrats to Daniel and the rest of the Americans. Seems we pretty much dominated. Won every weight except for 57KG.
