Des Moines Pep Rally 9/8

The UI Alumni Association is hosting a pep rally on Sept 8 at Western Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines. Details at http://www.iowalum.com/rivalrywithaheart/.

Dubbed 'Rivalry with a Heart," friends and alumni are asked to participate in a food drive between now and the pep rally. Donate non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to the Iowa Food Bank and it counts towards Iowa's total in this friendly competition with Iowa State alumni. The winning alumni base is announced at the pep rally and the Food Bank's truck will carry that school's logo for the next year.
