While hunting a gazelle, company founder John McHale missed a shot from 300 yards, and swore never to let this to happen again, to him or to anyone else. Thus was the TrackingPoint Precision-Guided Firearm born.

According to CEO Frank Bruno, the weapon uses "fighter jet lock-and-launch technology... enabling anyone to make extraordinary shots on moving targets at extreme distances." In other words, it tracks and follows the hunter's target, making it next to impossible to miss.

The gun retails for $49,995, but the company isn't stopping there when it comes to high-end weapons and equipment.

"We recently partnered with RECON to create the world's first weapon-integrated digital shooting glasses," Bruno said. "These revolutionary digital shooting glasses connect wirelessly to your TrackingPoint rifle and enhance your precision-guided hunting and shooting experience using a built-in camera and high-definition video display."

Sounds like guns are going the route of some high end audio - turntables and amplifiers that cost as much as a house did a few decades ago.
Also, whatever happened to giving big game a sporting chance?

Anyone buying a gun from Jesse James is just looking to blow money, or they're retarded. They are butt-ugly, and you can put together a better rifle for a 1/3 of the cost.

That, and their suppressor looks like a dildo...

Purdey, H&H firearms have always been uber expensive and geared to the old money affluent, but the Jesse James stuff is ridiculous. I don't blame him for going into the firearms business but the people that buy that stuff are Affliction wearing DBs with more money than brains.

I would mockingly say that the next step to guarantee a hit is the use of cluster munitions. But, I'm sure the NRA is working on my guaranteeing my right to use them.
