Looked to me on replay that #7 from Maryland held Hock's jersey so he couldn't jump for the ball thus ball overthrown for interception?

There was a worse holding "no call" on the 3rd down in the red zone. Hock couldn't get out of his break because he was being held. Coaches were going nuts. On the radio Kirk called the interception, just a really bad play.

This. It was just a really bad throw. I agree with the other non-call.

Stanley has panicked to the tune of 3 picks this year. He needs to overcome the “happy feet” he seems to get when under pressure in the pocket. The fact that we’ve overcome each one of these gives me hope that we have still not shown our best selves. And that’s a really good sign.

The problem with that play was that he had all day, there was nothing in the middle where he was looking and he didn't check down to his FB who was WIDE open in the flat. I don't see any holding on the play and I love how Hock went after it for the tackle.

On the 4th down throw to Easley, he didn't look anywhere else or he would have seen that Maryland blew coverage and had 3 guys bracketing Fant with Hock WIDE OPEN right in the middle of the field. Stanley is managing the team well, but he is missing stuff, which happens. Would have been a huge gain.

Agree. Without question. Maryland's D Backs got away with several muggings.

Also felt like Stanley was pressing, throwing the ball harder and loosing his accuracy on several throws.

I think the wind got in his head today. Some really puzzling throws but we won. Better to have those issues with a win than a loss.

The defender had both hands on Hockenson. It wasn't a very good throw, but it appeared TJ didn't get off the ground very much when he jumped for the ball. It's possible the defender had a hold of him, but it is also possible TJ didn't think the ball was intended for him so he didn't make much of an attempt to get it.

He needs to trust his scrambling ability a little more when he has time.

I know he's not the most mobile guy, but he has the ability to buy time in the pocket with his strong frame, but there are times where he has his mind made up on where he wants to go even if it's not there, or he'll force a throw thinking he's under pressure when there isn't any. He could benefit from trusting his feet more to buy himself that extra second or two to make a more confident throw.
