Didn't we report minor recruiting violations for something like this a few years back?

Not sure I consider it a big deal, but didn't we self report allowing some recruits to meet Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore at a football game a while back? Any idea what the difference is that would make this OK, but our situation was not?

It is NCAA rules, so it probably won't make sense, but it made me curious.

It was basketball. Mike Gessell and Adam Woodbury met them at a football game if I remember correctly.

If they arranged the meeting, there is a violation. If it's accidental, no violation.

So the kids that took their official and while on that official (on the sidelines) run into a celebrity it's a recruiting violation? For real?
